First off, let me start by saying that when it comes to capturing the moments of a once in a lifetime celebration, I pride myself on working with couples who break the cookie cutter mold of what a love story looks and feels like.
We are a new generation – able to re-write the narrative of society, adhering to no fairy tale or preconceived notion. I am here as a translator for the feelings and emotions of your day to be realized as physical memories in the form of a photograph. I am merely a conduit through which your story is told.

Note: Generally, all the major portrait sessions and some of the major events, like the ceremony, will be shot on film. I always carry a digital body with me, and I alternate between digital and analog throughout the day to cover a variety of looks and feels (there are some moments better suited for film, and some for digital). I use 35mm and medium format cameras. These give off a dreamy feel and have a specific, timeless look to them. Film is my favorite medium for portraiture. Film stands out when compared to other photographs due to its natural ability to produce vivid colors, warm tones, and beautiful grain that hold up against the test of time. The classic package includes the cost of film development and will come with high res scans. This also yields a multitude of looks and feels, from the whimsical look of Kodak Portra film to black and white dreamy images of the 120 medium format, Hasselblad. This is a much more unique and creative approach to photography. The price tag is steeper, but the time, precision, development/processing fees, and ultimately the end result is much more satisfying when working with traditional analog formats.

Note: We will spend a day together creating images at different locations of our choosing as well as multiple stops along the route. Up to 6 hours of shooting, yielding 60+ color-corrected and edited photos from a variety of scenes and angles, hosted online on a personalized gallery, I can turn these photos around in 4-6 weeks but often times much sooner.
